A new character is moving in on the Vampire Diaries and we have the full breakdown. According to Zap2it, the show will welcome a new vampire hunter with QUOTE a very, very mean streak. The big reveal will for the new character who we hear is named Alexander, will come in a flashback during episode 4. The flashback will take place in the 1100's with Rebekah. As the hunter goes after her, he develops feelings for her, and this will give us a different peek into Rebekah's story. Keep in mind, Rebekah was responsible for the accident that turned Elena into a vampire at the end of season 3, so we're guessing that almost everyone in Mystic Falls will have it out for her when season 4 debuts in October. Julie Plec recently talked about the flashback saying that a big secret will be uncovered that will change the course of the season for everybody. Do you have a guess about this big secret?
