Description: Microsoft previewed the newest version of its Windows Office today. The new business suite includes the programs Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and, of course, Microsoft Word.
The new suite will include new features to applications, and new applications altogether. The entirety of the programs were made to work with touch screens as Microsoft looks toward the future with their soon to be released Surface Tablet. Also of note is Microsoft's new SkyDrive system, which will allow users to pull their files from anywhere using the cloud. In addition, Microsoft's recent acquisition Skype, the internet communication system, has now become a part of the office suite.
A customer preview version of the new Office Suite is available to users now. The release date of the final version of the new Office has yet to be announced, but ABC News estimates it will be sometime around October when the new Windows 8 operating system launches.
